Kevin joined HMG in 2009 as minority partner, and his goal is to help grow the company into one of the premier Mortgage Lenders in the marketplace.  He is passionate about Service and will not sacrifice service for increased volume. 

He started in the industry in 1989 with Mortgage & Trust and spent most of his career as CFO of Sterling Capital Mortgage Company.  Kevin doesn't originate loans today, but has been a Loan Originator in the past.

Karen is a seasoned mortgage banking professional with a career history dating back to 1983.  She started out in the servicing side of the industry and over the years has worked and served as a manager in various capacities such as insurance, payoffs and assumptions, loan processing, closing, and warehouse funding and shipping.

She became a loan officer in 1997 after hearing in a staff meeting one of her managers mention the fact that they needed someone to focus on originating low-to-moderate income loans.  The rest is history.  Although her primary focus over the past years has been in this area, Karen is very knowledgeable of all types of mortgage products to meet the needs of the first time and move up homebuyer.  She is an experienced originator of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans.  Her main objective in meeting the needs of her clients is to provide them with the time and attention that she feels every individual deserves when going thru the homebuying process.  My favorite quote is "do unto others as you would have them to do unto you".  I expect to receive excellent customer service whenever and wherever I decide to spend my money.  Therefore, I naturally make it a part of my business to give that which I expect to receive.
